Hi! I'm Sara. A born and bred Rhode Islander capturing vibrant portraits for fellow island locals and vacationers alike. Years ago, after one semester as a marketing major at the University of Rhode Island, I left school to take my business full-time and I haven't looked back since.

ABOUT ME

Hi! I'm Sara. A portrait and wedding photographer serving Newport, Rhode Island and beyond. I started my business as a senior in high school and have had my camera by my side ever since. When I'm not in the studio or shooting a session on the beach, I'm usually in one of two modes. If I'm feeling inspired, you can often find me walking Sachuest Point at golden hour, chasing the sunset on Ocean Drive, or at a coffee shop with my notebook in hand dreaming up new ideas. Other times you'll find me parked on my couch, with McDonalds in hand, binge watching The Kardashians. It's all about balance.

I'm very easygoing and find the most happiness in simple moments with family and friends. I absolutely love what I do and I feel so very appreciative of every person that steps in front of my camera. I know it can sometimes feel a little nerve wracking to step in front of the camera - my number one goal is to make your session a fun, comfortable, and uplifting experience while capturing beautiful photos that you will look back on for the years to come.

Thanks for visiting my online home! I’m a 23 year old photographer from Portsmouth, RI. As a born and bred Rhode Islander, I absolutely love it here. After graduating high school in 2013 I went on to study at the University of Rhode Island for a semester before leaving school to focus on my business full-time, and I haven’t looked back.

When I’m not in the studio or shooting a session on the beach, you can sometimes find me on the couch binge watching Fixer Upper or Shark Tank, chasing the sunset on Ocean Drive or taking a walk at Sachuest Point, dreaming up new business ideas, or spending time with family and friends. It doesn’t take much to make me happy.
